Case study
Omhu

What we did
The client
Omhu builds modular homes for Northern Norway. Designed in Tromsø, built indoors, driven into the city and put up on site in a few weeks. We had worked with the owners on previous projects, so Morgen was a natural choice for the branding of the company.
Built with care
Omhu means care in Norwegian, and the company came as a response to a tight and expensive housing market in Tromsø. We set the direction for the project by combining the feeling of care, natural tones and a modular design.
Working with people
Omhu is a relatively small company, which keeps the communication between company and client close and personal. A simple catalogue look would have sent the wrong signal to potential buyers, so we kept it minimal with warm colours and a typeface that looks hand-drawn.
A display of strength
The brand film we made with Espejord Media and Raw Studios follows Omhu’s first three modular homes coming into Tromsø by road and over the city’s landmark bridge. That’s where we stood on a cold night at three in the morning, cameras set on either side and a drone flying across the bridge in heavy winter winds, to capture the three houses crossing.
Now
A year since launch, Omhu is building modular homes across Tromsø and Northern Norway.
